Your coins are safe.
Coins come from playing. Every animal runs the same.
Pace changes start with the next run. Standard is the default. Standard adds 50% more obstacles, rounded to a whole obstacle. Gentle keeps fewer obstacles and gives more steering time. Letter choices keep the same running speed; speed pickups and superhero mode still give a boost. Collisions slow the runner and spill 20% of the coins collected in this run, rounded up and capped at eight. They always leave at least one run coin. Previously banked coins stay safe. A short grace period prevents repeated hits; shields and superhero mode protect both speed and coins.
The speaker button mutes all sound, including narration. Footsteps, nature and game effects get quieter while a letter or word is spoken. Pausing or leaving stops the sound.
Match the next printed letter in tap, Sam, Tim or Pip. The voice names the next letter to find, then reads the whole word when it is complete. Completing the word gives eight seconds of speed, a larger avatar and invincibility. There is one word challenge per run, in the first two thirds of the course. Missed or different letters retry the same target in that section. A completed word stays complete; no second word starts. Any unfinished challenge clears before the final stretch. This is letter recognition and motor practice, not a reading-mastery test.
Help your child say the sounds and blend the word during or after the run. There is no microphone, speech scoring or live AI.
Race mode adds three local CPU animals. Choose Easy, Normal or Hard under Race. Higher levels run faster, react sooner and make fewer obstacle mistakes. CPU jumps, ducks and collisions affect their position. This choice is saved for the next race and does not change your running pace. They never block the player. Speed and collisions affect position; winning is not guaranteed. Solo and races have a finish line and never restart automatically. Coins buy cosmetic animals at fixed prices; the Legendary gorilla is the most expensive. No purchases or random prizes.
Coins, unlocked animals, preferences and run/word counts stay in this browser on this device. Clearing browser data clears them. Opening starts at the menu, never in the middle of a run.
Arrow keys or WASD; Space also jumps. Escape/P pauses. Swipe on the track, including chained swipes, or press the large arrow buttons. Reduced Motion removes decorative movement and burst animations.
